As of April 18, 2024, our in-house laboratory is authorized and certified to independently handle different types of testing, whether UN cerifications (4G, 4D, ...) or packaging certifications (EQ, LQ, ID8000, ...) for the shipment of dangerous goods according to all transport modalities: ADR, RID, ADN, IMDG, ICAO-TI / IATA, 49 CFR and 5998 ANTT. We manage all steps of UN certification: from analysis, testing, to obtaining the necessary documentation to ship in compliance.

UN certifications

We are certified to provide UN certifications valid for all regulations. Starting from your needs, the products you need to ship and the packaging you want to use, we provide a technical support service for obtaining a UN certification for your packaging. Our in-house laboratory can test different packaging and provide UN certifications valid for all transport modalities (ADR, RID, ADN, IMDG, ICAO-TI / IATA, 49 CFR and 5998 ANTT). Our certifications do not expire.

1 We support you until you obtain UN Certification

We carry out UN certifications by supporting you in the development of packaging until you obtain the UN certification. This will give you the confidence that you can ship your dangerous goods in full compliance with applicable regulations and the environment.

2 Complete tests

We perform the complete set of packaging tests required by regulations. Starting with your specific transport requirements, we simulate actual shipping conditions and perform all the necessary tests on those, such as the 1.2 m drop test and the 3 m stacking test for 24 hours, climate room conditionings, COBB test, or ECT (edge crush test). We perform the tests for every possible combination that is to be placed inside the packaging. This gives you full compliance with regulations and the assurance of a safe, compliant, and inspection-proof shipment.

3 Detailed Test Report and Type UN certificate

After completing the tests, together with the UN certificate we provide you with a detailed test report documenting all the results and observations found during the tests of the packaging. These are essential documents that can be submitted to the authorities if requested and ensure you fully compliant shipments.

4  Timelines

Starting with the characteristics of the products you need to transport, we provide a technical service to support obtaining UN certification for your packaging. We are able to produce bespoke UN certifications in 30 to 40 days.
