Limited quantity symbol

From the 1st of July of 2015 the new symbol or more precisely the new mark for shipping in limited quantity according to the regulations ADR, RID and ADN is entered into force. The mark, already accepted from the 1st of January 2012 for the shipping by sea IMDG has completely substituted the old label of Limited Quantity, label which contained inside the UN number. It is not possible, therefore, to use the old labels as they are no more in compliance with the regulations into force, risking penalties.

The packaging must satisfy the general dispositions of chapter 3.4 and in particular must be constructed in a way that satisfy the dispositions on the fabrications expected in the chapter 6.1.4 of regulation ADR, RID, AND and IMDG.
