SV mark, safety valve for tanks

By ADR 2023 it has been added a new mark for tanks equipped with safety valves to ship gas. The mark we are referring to is the SV mark which, like other panels required by ADR, must be fire resistant for 15 minutes, therefore a normal adhesive cannot be considered compliant. All tanks intended for the transport of flammable gases must be equipped with safety valves which require a correct signalling with the SV mark. The SV panel must be realized in compliance with 6.8.3.2.9.6.3 - ADR 2023 or 6.8.3.2.9.6.4 – ADR 2023 (only for demountable tanks or for tank-containers with a capacity not exceeding 3000 litres).
